Do you know about Erin Condren? Well, I didn’t either and now I know what all the hype is about. Goldie is my Life Planner from Erin Condren. Yes, I named my planner, it is easier for me to ask, “Where’s Goldie?” and it’s a cute and fun, so why not? Right?

Goldie is my anniversary present from my handsome husband Scott. This year I wanted something practical, and since the planner system I had been using stopped making my favorite pages I began to research planner options for 2015. We have a very occupied life, so anything that can help me keep it together is a blessing. And, my friends will tell you I still forget things, so I need help staying organized. I tried using my iPhone, but there is something about pen and paper that make me happy. I love the feeling I get when I cross off the things on my To Do list. Pure bliss.

Do you all use a planner system? What helps you stay organized? Please share your comments with me, I need all the help I can get.

Stay Happy,

PS. I forgot to mention if you like this planner and want to design your own (yes it is fully customizable) please use this link, you will get a discount and when I need to order again I will get a discount too. It’s a win win!

I am not getting paid to promote Erin Condren planners. I posted this because Goldie is pretty fantastic, and I love helping my friends out when I find out about awesome things. Just wanted you to know.

Lunch Time Tomato Soup

Hello Friends!

Today I made homemade tomato soup. It was so good. And the sodium content was very very low compared to store bought canned tomato soup. More than 50% lower is sodium!

What you need:

1 small can of tomato paste (best quality) – or you can use fresh tomatoes cooked down and blended with an immersion blender. If you did this you need about 1 medium tomato per serving. I just used the tomato paste and bought the best quality.

2 tbsp Basil

2 cloves of crushed Garlic

Himalayan Sea Salt (to taste)

Fresh Ground Black Pepper (to taste)

3 cups water or less if you want a thicker soup. Eyeball it.

Splash of milk or half and half optional

How to make it:

Add all ingredients into a soup pot on medium high heat. Bring to a boil. Stir well. If you wish, remove hot soup from heat source and add half and half or regular milk to make the soup less tart and more creamy.

Serve with crispy toast, or grilled cheese.

Idea: Garnish soup with Parmesan Cheese or with cheddar Goldfish crackers for the kids. I tell the kids it’s Bubble Guppies Soup or Mr. Grouper soup. It’s a huge hit.

Dream. Believe. Dare. Do.

Dear Friends,

I love a great book! One of the best books I have ever read is called, The Disney Way. It will inspire and educate you, and it will drive you to fulfill your passion. Here is what the cover of the book looks like:

You have a gift inside if you. It’s a gift that I believe our Creator placed in you from the moment you were born. It’s a gift to others, a gift to the world. Only you can present this gift, this passion, that will inspire others and bless them.

If you need to be encouraged, be ignited, or be educated The Disney Way is just what the Dr. ordered.

Be blessed!

Dear Awesome Readers,

Last November I became involved in a special Anti-Bullying project. I had the honor to illustrate, and co-write a book with Dr. Maryln Appelbaum from Appelbaum Training Institute.

I am thrilled to say that the book is about to go to public, in fact yesterday the books were in transit headed to the publisher for future distribution. This is so exciting! However, I wanted to ask you, dear readers to please help us get the word out.

The book is called “Little Cloud and the Bully Clouds” and I had the honor to illustrate, and co-write the book with Dr. Maryln Appelbaum. This book will be made available soon through Appelbaum Training Institute.

The mission is to help a younger generation understand that bullying is wrong. The book teaches young friends how to look for “bully clues” that point to someone being bullied, and how to ask for help. The book is geared for toddler age children, however the adults who have had a sneak preview of this book enjoyed it as well. So really it is for everyone. This book really hits home with most, because we have all had some sort of “Bully” experience in our lives. That’s why it is so important to reach the young ones now! Don’t you agree?

I would be forever grateful to you all if you would join me in this mission. Tell your friends about this blog, share, and follow if you aren’t already. Look for my official Facebook page and the page for Appelbaum Training Institute. PLEASE “like” both pages.  It’s important. Every single “like” counts. If you tweet please follow me on Twitter @stephcatlett. You can also find me on Pinterest and Instagram. I love connecting with my online friends and it would be fun to share this journey with you. I thank you in advance for even considering my request. Thank you for taking the time to read this blog, and more than that, thank you for being my friend. Xo Xo Xo.

With Love and Blessings,
